The Myth

The perception

Kacip fatimah (Labisia Pumila) has been consumed for centuries by the Malay women of Malaysia. The common usages of it were through the administration before and after childbirth to treat diseases like flatulence, gonorrhea and hemorrhoids as well as to prevent “sickness of the bones” among women.

Because of its name, Kacip Fatimah which means Fatimah’s maternity remedy (Fatimah, a woman’s name), the plant since then is heavily promoted to women as a health tonic, coffee or tea.

Thus, the local misconception of Kacip Fatimah is only meant for women.

The Work

From the lab to your home

Kacip Fatimah is taken from the lowlands and forest floors. To ensure the consistency of every batch, each plant goes through a screening called PhytoProfile technology to determine the batch with the highest concentration of Gallic Acid.

Once determined, each batch is then produced through a proprietary extraction process and encapsulated in a GMP facility. Within each capsule, at least 4.5% of Gallic Acid is present; the minimum required to regulate changes in your body.

We’re setting the standard for quality and efficacy.

Labeesity® undergoes various QA/QC process and have passed regulatory screenings by Malaysian, Singaporean safety including approval from the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) Novel Food.
